The Technology Committee was created after many, many years of slow, unreliable internet. We explored the limited options available, and then went "outside the box" to find the ultimate solution - 1G Fiber Internet! It was a huge project and took a few years from planning to implementation, but it has been one of Augusta Shores best amenities because it allows us to be connected to the world from the serene, beautiful setting of Augusta Shores.
The Technology Committee also installed Licensed-Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras at the front and back entrances. These cameras are connected to the local police departments, so if a license plate is captured that is on their "criminal hot list", the police are immediately notified.

Frequently Asked Internet Questions:
1) What do I do if I am having Internet connection speed issues or the internet appears to be down?
Always try first rebooting your computer AND your internet modem!
To do this:
If this does not resolve the issue, contact Lumen (CenturyLink) Support.
ALWAYS provide the Augusta Shores MDU# up front when calling tech support!
Then provide your name and address
2) How does internet billing work?
- A "bulk contract” was negotiated with Lumen/CenturyLink, so there is one internet bill for all of Augusta Shores. It is paid by ASOA. ASOA collects $800 from each lot owner which pays for their internet for the year. Residents should NOT get billed directly from Lumen/CL for internet.
3) What is the term of Augusta Shore's internet contract?
- It is an 8 year contract which began when the internet installation was complete (April 2020). The first year was free – billing began April 2021, and the contract goes through 2028.
4) What is the Augusta Shores’ MDU account number?
- The bulk services number (MDU# ) for Augusta Shores is 480716534
5) What do NEW residents do if:
- Call the sales team at 866-706-4722 to let them know you moved in and need to get set up for theAugusta Shores bulk services internet - MDU 480716534.
- For the internet, same as the above question. As for the phone, let them know you wish to have phone service as well. The resident will be billed directly for phone service.
6) What do LEAVING residents do if:
- Call the sales team at 866-706-4722 to let them know you are moving and need to take their bulk services out of your name - that way when the new resident moves in there’s not an issue for them to connect to the BULK internet services. The service can NOT be transferred to another residence outside Augusta Shores.
- For the internet, same as the above question. As for the phone, you need to call the sales team to have that phone service cancelled before moving out. Otherwise if you don’t, it will cause issues for the new resident moving not being able to gain access to services because there’s still active service.
To keep Augusta Shores connected with the use of technology.
